Golf Course FAQs

Who can play?

Yes, we are open to all, subject to availability 7 days a week.

No handicap certificate is required

No, dogs are not permitted on the golf course.

Dress Code

Strictly no jeans, track suit bottoms or football shirts. Footwear must be golf shoes or trainers.

Booking a tee time on the golf course

You can book online at www.silvermere-golf.co.uk or phone the Golf Office on 01932 584314

Up to 7 days in advance online or by phone.

At present, we are not allowing single players.

Hire Equipment

Club hire is available on a limited basis, please ring the golf office for more information

All buggies must be pre booked through the golf office, Ts&Cs apply

Trolleys can be hired at the 1st tee for £4 per round, all subject to availability

 

Yes, it is not permitted to share clubs on the golf course, each player must have clubs and a bag of their own to maintain a reasonable speed of play.

Cancellations

Yes, but you must cancel by 4pm the day before your allotted tee time or you will be charged a no show fee.

You will be charged £10 per player unless we are able to re-sell the tee time in which case no charge will be made.

Bistro FAQs

What time does the Bistro open?

 

9:00am - 11:00pm daily.

No bookings for the Bistro taken on a Sunday only for upstairs 4 course carvery.

 

Do I need to pre-order?

Only for bookings over 10 – We operate an “order at the bar” service style so please bear this in mind for larger groups.

Sunday Roast Carvery

£38.00 for adults, £19.00 for children aged 3 to 12 inclusive (2 and under go free).

We have a large starter buffet consisting of a wide selection of charceuterie meats, seafood, pastas, breads and salads. For the main, we always prepare beef, along with one other choice of meat. All served with the usual trimmings and plenty of fresh seasonal vegetables. There is then a large dessert buffet of tarts, cakes and gateaux, finished off by cheese and biscuits and tea and coffee.

Yes, typically a nut roast which is also served with vegetarian gravy. Please inform a member of our team on arrival of any dietary requirements.

Please call the sales and events team on 01932 584316 to book.  A deposit of £10 per guest is required for groups of 10 or more.

Our upstairs Carvery is by reservation only and is a 4 course meal including tea and coffee. Downstairs is main course only and is purely first come first served- no bookings are taken but you are very welcome to turn this into a 2 or 3 course meal by ordering starters and desserts from our bistro menu.

Yes, the dress code is smart casual, no trainers or hats and smart jeans only.

Highchairs

Yes, available on arrival but if you wish to book, please mention at the time of booking.
