Srixon Silvermere Shoot-Out

The Silvermere Srixon Shoot-Out promised to be the best ever event held at Silvermere!  Almost unbelievably we had managed to get together 4 Golf Professionals to play a six hole shoot-out!  With the help of Srixon the line up consists of Henrik Stenson, Laura Davies, Miguel Ángel Jiménez and Robert Lee. Unfortunately on the day Henrik Stenson was unwell so Greg Hutcheon stepped in at the last minute and proved to be the one to beat!

Robert Lee, presenter of Golf Night on Sky Sports, played in the 4 ball not only to pit his wits in a golfing sense but to also ask  the players questions as they made their way around the tricky 6 holes at Silvermere.  It’s was a chance to see another side to these great players in a relaxed environment away from the pressure of tournament play.  Having said that none of these great competitors wanted to be out played and pride brought out some sparkling golf! 

Competition

2 lucky competition winners got the chance to have a 20 minute private lesson with Laura Davies & Miguel Angel Jimenez. Both Christine Fisher, who had a lesson with Laura Davies and Simon Brockelhurst who had a lesson with Jimenez really appreciated the tips they were given and were both showing alot of promise by the end of the lesson.
