New Chef at the Inn on the Lake
David Morgan is the new Executive Head Chef and comes from an impressive hotel background. Whilst with Hilton he launched the fantastic Mediterranean Grill and then moved on to make his mark at Old Thorns Hotel and Country Club.
Our new Head chef is Andy Horsley who was David’s protégé at Old Thorns is passionate about introducing hearty brasserie dishes to Silvermere that you would hope to find in any good country hotel or pub.
As Andy says, he and David have created “an exciting new menu that includes beautifully presented, hearty classic British dishes with flavoursome sauces and good portions”
What excites them both about Silvermere is the beautiful setting, the accessible location and the waiting staff who really care, making it the ideal venue for all occasions.
Food
We are passionate about the quality, variety and value of the food we serve, so our menu and service may come as something of a pleasant surprise. Our dishes are always cooked to order from fresh, tastefully crafted by our skilled team of chefs.
Drink
A relaxing afternoon spent on our heated terrace deserves a great selection of refreshments, and that’s exactly what we offer. We stock a selection of draught beers and Real Ales as well as a large selection of Wines including 9 we offer by the glass.

Silvermere holds a variety of events throughout the year from Father’s Day lunches to exhilarating Tribute Nights. Each event has been created and thought about with you in mind so you’re able to simply arrive, relax and enjoy yourselves!

We really enjoy celebrating special occasions at Silvermere and we have many different ways to create just the right atmosphere for you and your special day. We have a variety of rooms to choose from that allow us to hold events for 8 to 200 people.
