“I am looking forward to another year at Silvermere, especially being captain of this great golf course which challenges golfers of all levels and experience. The Committee, existing members and myself will continue to make every effort in welcoming new members to mix, thereby making it easier for you to participate from day one.
A big attraction to me has always been the facilities available at Silvermere and the number of competitions for members at allotted times being it at the weekend or during the week. We encourage people of all ages and ability to participate and this helps build the community spirit. The majority of the major competitions fall at the weekend and these can usually be played on either the Saturday or Sunday morning so as to allow greater flexibility for you as a member. After an exciting round of golf, join fellow players in Members area for a refreshing drink and banter.
I hope you achieve at least some of your golfing ambitions at Silvermere in 2011, but above all you will have fun playing the great game”

“We are a small, friendly group of lady golfers who meet regularly on Tuesdays and/or Sundays to play club and fun competitions, knockout tournaments and friendly matches. We also enjoy annual competitions with the men’s section such as the Mixed Trophy and our own variation of the Ryder Cup entailing the men vs the women.
We encourage golfers of all abilities to come and join us rain or shine!”

At Silvermere we want to make learning golf with your friends fun. Our group lessons allow for an informal yet productive teaching environment. However, if you're after a more intensive introduction to the game then one of our 12 PGA Coaches can devise a course of Individual Lessons to suit you and your busy lifestyle.
